1.    A Preliminary Symposium Program:


First day, Saturday, 12 April, 2025: The Opening Ceremony:

Opening ceremony of the conference will be in (https://triumphhotel.com/luxury-home/).

1st day schedule:

–      Registration and exhibition at 8.15 – 9.55 AM.

–      Official opening, 10.00 – 11.00 AM.

–      Key note speakers 11.05 – 12.05 PM.

–      Exhibition (Break, welcome cocktail & ice breaker), 12.10 – 1.20 PM..

–      Plenary sessions: 1.25 – 2.25 PM.  

–      2.30 – 4.00 PM. 12 parallel thematic sessions in Triumph luxury Hotel.

–      4.05 – 4.40 PM: Move to (Nile Crystal Cruise Resturant).

–      4.50 – 7.30 PM: Nile Cruise Lunch and folk art performance

–      7.40 – 8.20 PM: Return to Triumph luxury Hotel and to other hotels and arrive Tahrir Square .

Fourth day 15 April, 2025, schedule:

Closure session and visit Pyramids & National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.

  •  8.20 AM: Buses depart from Triumph luxury Hotel to the Egyptian Geographical Society, EGS, at Historic Parliament yard, Qasr Al Aini- Tahrir Square.
  •  8.55 – 9.40 AM: Registration.
  •  9.45 – 10.45 AM: Reception and visit (EGS) museums & libraries.
  •  10.50 – 11.30 AM: Closure session at the memorial Royal hall.
  •  11.40 AM: Depart buses to Giza Pyramids.
  •  12.45 PM – 2.15 PM: Pyramids tour.
  •  2.20 PM: Depart Pyramids by buses to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
  •  2.50 – 5.00 PM: Tour in National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
  •  5.10 PM: Depart buses to The Grand Egyptian Museum.
  •  5.55 – 6.45 PM: Take away lunch in The Grand Egyptian Museum.
  •  6.55 – 9.45 PM: Tour in The Grand Egyptian Museum.
  • 9.55 PM: Depart buses to Triumph luxury Hotel, other hotels and Tahrir Square.

2.    Proposed after symposium optional trips:

We negotiated with a government related company for organizing the optional touristic trips that are assigned to different regions to diverse destinations, landscapes and landmarks from 16 to19 April, 2025 or after. They can include:

1.  Optional trips (one day) including meal, visit fees, transport, 75-175 €:

–   Cairo New Eastern urban expantion and the New Administrative Capital of Egypt.

–   Cairo: the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square, the Citadel, Coptic Churches  and Nile Corniche.

–   Ismailia City: Dual Suez Canal, Ismailia & De Lesseps  and Abu Atwa Deversoir museums.  

–   Fayoum Oasis: Tunis Art Village, Qaroun Temple Palace and Qaroun lake.

2.  Optional trips (2 days 1 night) full board with transport and visit fees, 175-300 €:

–         Alexandria City: Alexandria Bibliotheca, Qaitbay Citadel, Alex. Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa archaeological site, Greco-Roman Museum and Montaza Royal park .

–         Sokhna resort,Al Galala new town on Suez Gulf .

–         Port Said, Port Foad and Northern Suez Canal.

–         El Alamein New City & World War II Cemetery on the North Westren Coast.

–         Fayoum Oasis & Wadi Al Rayan Paleontological Protectorate, South West Cairo.

3.  Optional trips (4 days 3 nights) full board with transport, 400-550 €:

–         Sharm El Seikh, Saint Catherine’s Monastery, Red Sea & Sinai.

–         Dahab, Saint Catherine’s Monastery and Taba, Aqba Gulf, Sinai.

–         Hurgada Resort on the Red Sea.

–         Siwa Oasis in the Westren Desert.

–         Al Baharyah Oasis in the Westren Desert.

4.  Optional trips (5-7 days 4-6 nights) full board with transport, 600-1000€:

–         Nile Cruise to old Egyptian archiological sites along Nile Vally untill Luxor & Aswan.

–         Marsa Alam Resort on the Red Sea.

–         Nile Cruise to old Egyptian archiological sites untill Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel Temples.
