Acknowledgement

We remember with gratitude the late Prof. Dr. Salah Eisa, member of the IGU Sustainability of  Rural systems Commission for being the owner of the idea of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the IGU Cairo Congress 1925, Prof. Dr. Sayed Husseini, former Chairman of the EGS Board of Directors, and former Board of Directors members for adopting this idea.
